ABOUT ME

I'm a blue-collar guy who has spent most of his life working.

I grew up in an era where if something broke, you tried to fix it. If you didn't know how to do something, you found somebody who did, watched, asked questions, and learned.

That probably explains a lot about me today.

I'm curious. I like understanding how things work. I'm always building something, fixing something, researching something, or coming up with an idea that I want to try.

I'm also at a point in life where I'm more deliberate about where I put my energy.

I've built a career I'm proud of. But the older I get, the less interested I am in collecting titles just to have another title.

I want the next part to mean something.

I want challenging work. I want to be around capable people. I want to keep learning, keep building, and keep pushing into problems that are actually hard to solve. I want to pass along what I've learned — and I want to keep earning new lessons alongside it.

I'm not finished. Not close.

I'm probably more driven now than I've ever been.

And if you've spent some time looking through this website, you've probably already figured out one other thing about me:

When something matters to me, I put a lot into it.

I'm direct. Sometimes probably too direct.

I have high expectations for myself, and I've had to learn over the years that not everyone thinks, works, learns, or communicates the same way I do.

I'm still learning that.

Outside of work, I'm pretty ordinary. I like good food, loud music, spending time with the people I care about, working on projects, and having something on the horizon that I'm looking forward to.

That is me.

Not a superintendent lesson. Not an operations Director pitch. Not another explanation of your leadership philosophy.
