THE OPERATING CODE | 000
WHY THIS EXISTS
After years in construction and field operations, I realized much of what experience had taught me existed only in my head.
So I started documenting it.
What I didn't expect was that writing those lessons down would challenge some of my own thinking.
I've rewritten this page four times. Some chapters have been rewritten even more. The purpose never changed, but the process made the purpose clearer and the thinking sharper.
Sometimes I remembered another detail. Sometimes a question exposed something I hadn't considered. Some principles became stronger. Some opinions changed. And some lessons I had always viewed from the field looked different when I considered what they meant across an entire operation.
The Operating Code is the result.
It documents what experience has taught me, how I approach responsibility, and the principles I believe contribute to strong, sustainable results.
The project ends. The lesson shouldn't.
